About Black River Public Schools
Black River Public School is a not-for-profit, state-funded school chartered by Grand Valley State University in Holland, Michigan.
Serving students in grades K-12, it accommodates individual learning styles with its college preparatory liberal arts middle and high school, Montessori-based elementary school, and integrated curriculum. Black River is a place for any student, regardless of their school district, to experience the joys of learning in a smaller class-size environment that fosters participation, responsiveness, and experiential learning.
Ranked highly by US News and Niche, Black River serves nearly 1,000 students and over 640 families.

Raise Money
Rather than selling, selling, selling, and only receiving a portion of the money, the RatRaiser is designed to maximize the support of our community. With the support of our generous sponsors, 100% of student-raised funds go directly toward supporting the school.

Event activities
Come for the fun carnival games, and stay for the dunk tank, inflatables, community tables, ‘build-a-bear,’ yard games, and pizza!
Also, stop by the Community Action House Table and bring non-perishable food for the food drive, and the Girl Scouts table and bring Hygiene Products and Cleaning Supplies for their donation kits! (Donations earn 5 indoor prize tickets)!

From the door prizes to the indoor games, get ready to have a blast! Hop inside and play carnival games with your GREEN wristband to win awesome prizes!
Not only will you have lots of fun, but you’ll also earn rewards and help us reach our school goals. Don’t forget to check out the auction to try to win some un-buyable experiences!

Whether you’re a 1st-grade student, high school junior, or an adult, we have activities for everyone!
Community Tables, all new experience auction, carnival games, inflatables, a dunk tank, a ‘build-a-bear’ experience (for pre-raisers only), and more!

ONLINE DONATION PORTAL
Step 1: Navigate to https://app.99pledges.com/fund/ratraiser25
Step 2: Search for your child by LAST NAME and FIRST Initial name and click to go to their personal portal
Step 3: Double check your child’s HOMEROOM or CAP teacher
Step 4: SHARE via social media, email, or in person! Cash and checks can still be collected and returned using the envelope provided and will be collected and updated intermittently.
